During this session, we will provide important information on enrollment, health insurance, and introduce our orientation programs as well as the Study Buddy Program. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to become acquainted with LUH and connect with fellow students.

We warmly invite you to an online session focusing on getting started in Hannover.
Topics include finding accommodation, finances, the city of Hannover, administrative procedures, and residence matters (foreigners office). 

When: 30.03.2026 | Monday, 2 - 5 pm
Where:

During the second online session, various university services and facilities will introduce themselves and provide an overview of important contact points and support services for the start of your studies. Topics include, among others, language and sports programs, key online services, and how to use the library.

Get to know the campus at its best! During our guided tours, you will discover important places to go, hidden spots, and receive helpful tips from other students about studying. To wrap things up, we invite you to a relaxed Welcome BBQ — the perfect opportunity to meet new people, chat, and end the day together in a laid-back atmosphere.

In this introduction to the library structure (TIB), you will get information and tips for use, online registration, workstations and searching for books. You will be split into groups. The tour will last round about one hour. You will be assigned a one-hour time slot on Thursday, between 9am and 12pm.

When: 02.04.2026 | Thursday, 1 hour slot will be assigned between 9 am - 12 pm.

 In the afternoon you will get the chance to discover the charm of Hannover with a city tour.

An evening of getting-to-know-each-other games and a feast of flavors from around the world. Bring a dish from your country and let's create an international buffet! This event is a great opportunity to find new friends! Please also bring a small homemade dish that is typical of your country or region. This will help to create a colourful international buffet, and ensure that we all enjoy a wonderful evening together!

During Sports Day, you will have the chance to try out new sports and meet other international students. It is also a great way to familiarise yourself with the SportCampus and its various activities.
We are planning to offer one-hour sessions of DanceFit, fitness and yoga/Pilates, which you are welcome to join.
Please bring sportswear, indoor shoes, a towel and something to drink to ensure you are fully prepared.

When: 04.04.2026 | Saturday, 10 am - 2 pm.
Meeting point: Meet at the International Office, then walk to the Centre for ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓƵ Sports.
