¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ boasts a multitude of international relationships. All members of the university can benefit from these relationships and develop both personally and professionally. Cooperation with impressive global partners enriches our studies, research, and administration on a daily basis. Our university currently has 168 cooperation agreements in place with 139 higher education institutions in 40 countries.

- Bringing together the major research priorities of both universities.
- Bundling of many individual activities.

- Strengthening cooperation within universities by involving more institutes and faculties.
- Creating a broad field of action comprising: exchanges of students, doctoral candidates and researchers, joint degree programmes (double degrees), doctoral programmes and research cooperation.
- Developing a broad spectrum of joint (English-language) educational programmes for Bachelor's and Master's students as well as doctoral candidates.
- Establishing cooperation with non-university research institutions.

EULiST - European ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ Alliance
Linking science and society – Leibniz ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ wants to take on this challenge together with nine strong partner universities in Europe. The alliance ‘EULiST – European Universities Linking Society and Technology’ aims to make Europe tangible and accessible for all university members and students.
We want to cooperate with our EULiST partners in teaching, research, and administration to realise the vision of the European ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ. Strong partners and close networks ensure our future viability in international competition.
