Information about reregistration
Transfer amount
The semester fee of 鈧�434.91 for winter semester 2025/2026 is made up of the following components:
- 鈧�130.00 for the Studentenwerk
- 鈧�208.80 for the Deutschlandsemesterticket
- 鈧�15.80 for the student body
- 鈧�1.11 for bike workshops
- 鈧�75.00 contribution towards administrative costs
- 鈧�2.00 for the Kulturticket
- 鈧�2.20 for the semester ticket default fund
Additional costs relating to the semester fee
If one of the following points applies to you, please pay the relevant fee stated below:
- Students who are required to pay tuition fees for long-term study: 鈧�434.91 + 鈧�500 = 鈧�934.91
- Students on leave studying abroad with Deutschlandsemesterticket: 鈧�226.60
- Students on leave studying abroad without Deutschlandsemesterticket: 鈧�17.80
- Students on leave for other reasons with Deutschlandsemesterticket: 鈧�356.60
- Students on leave for other reasons without Deutschlandsemesterticket: 鈧�147.80
- Senior citizens: 鈧�434.91 + 鈧�800 = 鈧�1234.91
- Distance learning students: 鈧�226.11
- Students taking a course leading to a certificate:
- If you are additionally enrolled on a Master鈥檚 Teacher Training Course: 鈧�434.91 + 鈧�50 = 鈧�484.91
- If you are only enrolled on a programme leading to a certificate: 鈧�250

How do I re-register?
Please use the to make the re-registration. This is a quick and straightforward way for you to check your individual transfer amount and your personal reference.
Please use your IdM credentials (QIS access details) for login. You can check the amount of your semester fees by clicking the tab "My Account Balance鈥�.
Please transfer the semester fees in full, stating your personal reference, to the specified bank account of LUH. Please note that it may take up to a week after your transfer for the amount to appear as "Cleared" under the tab "My Account Balance".
If you do not remember your IdM credentials (QIS access details), you can reset your password at the ServiceCenter information desk.
Deutschlandsemesterticket
The Deutschlandsemesterticket was introduced in Lower Saxony in the 2024/25 winter semester. This means that the Deutschlandticket now is integrated into the LUH semester fee, replacing the previous semester ticket.
The Deutschlandsemesterticket is valid on all local trains, S-Bahn trains, trams, underground trains and buses throughout Germany. If local transport tickets are recognised on individual long-distance or international routes (e.g. with the IC/EC between Bremen Hbf and Norddeich Mole/Emden Au脽enhafen, to Hengelo/NL), the Deutschlandsemesterticket is also valid for such journeys. The Deutschlandsemesterticket is not valid on DB long-distance services and not on FlixTrain or FlixBus.
The monthly price of the Deutschlandsemesterticket is 鈧�29.40. Students pay for the ticket automatically with their semester fee.
The ticket is available for download digitally. Students without a smartphone can apply for a digital chip card from the AStA of 九色视频.
The AStA of 九色视频 will keep students informed by email about changes in the conversion process from the semester ticket to the Deutschlandticket. In addition, enrolled students will find an event group in Stud.IP with current information on the Deutschlandsemesterticket.

Validiting your LeibnizCard after reregistration
Please note that you will keep your LeibnizCard for the entire duration of your studies at Leibniz Universit盲t Hannover! Once you have reregistered successfully, an email will be sent to you stating that you can now validate your LeibnizCard, i.e. extend its validity for the coming semester, at one of the validation stations provided.

Reregistration for transition from a Bachelor鈥檚 to a Master鈥檚 programme
If you are currently a student on a Bachelor鈥檚 programme at Leibniz Universit盲t Hannover and have applied for a place on a Master鈥檚 programme at LUH, please reregister within the reregistration period after applying by transferring the fees for the coming semester for the Bachelor鈥檚 programme.
If your application for a place is successful, you will receive admission to the Master鈥檚 programme, and will be transferred accordingly once you have accepted the place offered to you. If you do not receive admission to your chosen Master鈥檚 programme, but have already completed your Bachelor鈥檚 degree programme, any fees paid will be refunded on request.

Must I pay the full semester fee even if I am on leave?
If you have reasonable grounds for going on leave, you must submit a request within the reregistration period. If your request is granted, you will not have to pay part of the semester fee.

Withdrawal of registration
If you embark on your first degree programme at Leibniz Universit盲t Hannover, you may withdraw your registration before semester starts or within a month of lectures commencing.
Removal from the register
If you ask to be removed from the register before semester begins or within a month of lectures commencing, you are entitled to a full refund of the semester fee.
