Do you already have a basic knowledge of German and would now like to improve your communication skills? Are you interested in socialising and exchanging ideas with colleagues from Leibniz Universit盲t Hannover?

In this event you can improve your German for different situations at work and in your free time. You will talk to each other in German about everyday topics, clarify the necessary vocabulary and, if necessary, repeat grammatical structures.

Main topics:

•     communicating in everyday situations (e.g. at work, at the doctor's, when looking for a flat, if something is broken in the flat, etc.)
•     making phone calls (e.g. making/cancelling appointments, making reservations in a restaurant/hotel, complaining/reacting to complaints, making small talk on the phone, etc.)
•     discuss various topics (e.g. current news, regional studies, intercultural issues)
•     other topics as required by the participants

The course started in February and will continue throughout the year.  New participants are always welcome on request.
