This workshop is all about intercultural communication and the key to successful research work with colleagues from all over the world. It is a great opportunity for international PhDs to learn more about the German way of communication and doing research but it is also important for German doctoral candidates who, although doing research in Germany, will have to work with people from all over the world. The workshop is nothing like a 鈥渂oring鈥� presentation but rather a pleasant sharing of experiences and searching for strategies on how to work best in an international environment.

The workshop is led by a intercultural trainer who has spent a lot of time abroad herself and has been running workshops at the International Office for many years. Participants in her workshop can not only improve their intercultural skills, but also learn a lot about themselves.

In diesem Workshop dreht sich alles um interkulturelle Kommunikation und den Schl眉ssel zur erfolgreichen Forschungsarbeit mit Mitarbeitenden aus aller Welt. Es ist eine gro脽artige Gelegenheit mehr 眉ber die deutsche Art der Kommunikation und Forschung zu lernen. Andererseits ist auch wichtig f眉r deutsche Forschende, die, obwohl sie in Deutschland forschen, mit Menschen aus der ganzen Welt zusammenarbeiten. Der Workshop ist eine Mischung aus einem angenehmen Erfahrungsaustausch und die Suche nach Strategien, wie man am besten in einem internationalen Umfeld arbeitet.

Geleitet wird der Workshop von einer deutschen interkulturellen Trainerin, die selbst sehr viele Erfahrungen an Bildungseinrichtungen in anderen L盲ndern gemacht hat. Bitte beachtet, dass dieser Workshop keine Einzelberatung ersetzt.
