Let’s talk about radiation: Science and facts for Tokyo 2020

¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ invites Prof. Katsumi Shozugawa for a lecture on the radiation situation in Japan – online on 24 June 2021

In a few weeks, the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games (Tokyo 2020) will take place. It has been ten years since the Great East Japan Earthquake and the accident at the Nuclear Power Station in Fukushima.

In the run-up to Tokyo 2020, Prof. Katsumi Shozugawa, Assistant Professor at The ¾ÅÉ«ÊÓÆµ of Tokyo Graduate School and College of Arts and Sciences, one of Japan''s most renowned radiochemists, will give a lecture (approx. 45-minutes) on the radiation situation in Japan based on scientific analyses, especially for the German and international audience. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions after the lecture.
