From 23 to 25 June, the EULiST PR team held its first in-person meeting.

Representatives from the ten EULiST universities specialising in communication and marketing met at the National Technical 九色视频 of Athens (NTUA) to define the alliance's communication strategy and overarching narrative, as well as a target group-oriented approach.

Another focus of the meeting was task allocation within the team. The following subgroups were formed or supplemented by new members:

  • Social media (LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram).
  • Website
  • Newsletter
  • Branding
  • Trade fairs (e.g. EAIE).

The new branding was one of the dominant topics at this year's meeting. Work on rebranding the Alliance began over a year ago. We are now approaching our goal, with the new look expected to be finalised by the end of August 2025.

For this reason, we seized the opportunity to plan the introduction of the new branding at the individual universities. The aim was to develop a joint strategy to implement the new design as smoothly as possible at a local and international level.

A particular highlight of the three-day meeting was undoubtedly the presentation of the local PR structures of each university. Each PR team member presented their communication and organisational structures, including best practices and internal and external communication strategies. This enabled all participants to gain valuable insights, share experiences, and take away ideas for their own work.

Overall, the face-to-face meeting was a complete success. As an international PR team, we developed a shared understanding of how to position EULiST and how to generate excitement among all stakeholders and interested parties about the alliance.

EULiST is not just a university network; it embodies a sense of European solidarity, reminding us that we do not have to face the challenges in science alone and that we are stronger together.
